Beginning in 1982 as an independent provider of manual labor
services for an international manufacturer, Dittrich Specialties
now offers expanded manual and technical services. Since
1982, Dittrich Specialties has met demand head-on. Expanding
from an initial staff of five to now over 100 employees,
Dittrich Specialties has the resources to get the job done
right.
Dittrich Specialties had been a closed vendor for 3M for
over 15 years before we began to look for outside sources
to expand our business. Dittrich Specialties has seen growth
in outside business but our primary customer is 3M. Even
though we work with 3M as a whole, we manage schedules for
several different departments that operate independently
from one another. This allows us to customize to the customer
projects. We will work with the individual customer for
quoting. This may include quoting per piece, by the hour,
per piece plus materials or as a turn key project.
Our Main plant size is 49,000 square feet. The break-down
for production versus warehousing in the main facility would
be: 29,000 sq. ft. of production and 20,000 sq. ft. of warehousing.
We also have the option of extended warehousing in separate
locations from the main plant in New Ulm that make up approx.
12,000 sq. ft.

staff offer the flexibility of 24 hours a day, and the potential
of 7 day weekly production schedules to ensure timely project
completion. Dittrich Specialties also offers customized
production, including procedure writing and specialized
training of work force to suit your specific needs.
